We build software, websites and technical teams

Everything from the first plan to the release after launch. Two things, really. We build software, and we build teams that build software. Everything below is one of those two.

* Custom software, websites and online stores, engineering teams you can hire, and ongoing support after launch, with the code and documentation kept yours.

Take one of them, or all eight. A single project, an ongoing programme, or a team that stays.

Some companies come to us with a project and want it delivered. Others have a project but not enough engineers, so we put together a team that works alongside theirs. Both are normal here. And you can move between them as your plans change.

Where to start

Start from the problem, not the service

Most people arrive describing a situation rather than a service. If one of these sounds like yours, it points at where to begin. If none of them do, tell us anyway and we’ll say which one fits.

Spreadsheets and off-the-shelf tools have stopped coping

The business has outgrown what it runs on, and the workarounds now cost more than the tools save. That is a custom build, usually starting with a short piece of planning to work out how much of it is worth building at all.

Custom software development
The software works, but it has aged badly

Slow, fragile, expensive to change, or held together by one person who knows where everything is. We review it and tell you honestly whether to fix it or replace it, before anyone commits a budget.

Planning and technical advice
You are launching a product or selling online

A site or storefront that loads fast, reads clearly and converts, wired into the payment, CRM and internal systems you already use.

Website and online store development
You have the plan, but not enough engineers

Developers, designers, QA and DevOps who join your team and work to your priorities and your process. Usually weeks rather than months, because our specialists are spread across several countries and time zones.

Dedicated development teams
You need the person on your own payroll

Technical recruitment run by people who build software themselves, so candidates are assessed on what they can do rather than on CV keywords. This is the slowest of the three ways to add capacity, and the most permanent.

Team building and hiring
It is live, and now it has to stay that way

Monitoring, security updates, fixes and new features after launch. As an ongoing agreement, a monthly block of time, or occasional help when you need it.

Ongoing support and ownership

What stays the same

Eight services, one way of working

Whether we build the software, or find the people who will, these do not change.

01

You own it

The code and documentation are yours by default, in your own repositories and accounts, handed over as we go rather than at the end.

02

Senior people

Nobody learning on your project at your expense. Our recommendations come from delivery, not from a report.

03

Honest scope

We will tell you when something is not worth building, and say plainly if we are not the right people for it.

04

Clear accountability

Objectives, responsibilities and outcomes agreed from day one, so you always know who owns what.

One of them, or all eight

Tell us what you are trying to build

Tell us what you need built, or who you need to build it, and we'll tell you plainly if we're the right people.
